The train is fast approaching
Whilst on the platform we await,
With anticipation for its arrival
With a hope it won’t be late.
And gladly we do stand
Knowing that it will arrive,
With a watchful eye upon the time
As the minutes they subside.
And there’s joy as it approaches
As we hear the brakes that screech,
Having full trust in the driver
Knowing our destination we will reach.
But what happens if we miss it
And it is the final one,
Do we panic with anxiety
Or from reality we run?
The final boarding call
In our lifetime will exist,
And it’s imperative we board that train
To ensure it’s not missed!
Are we all aboard to travel
To the heavenly realm so true,
With Jesus as our captain
Or make excuses for all we do?
The train it cannot wait
For a prolonged period of time,
Let’s ensure we’ve left the platform
And to not be left behind.
“But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night…”.
2 Peter 3:10
“Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy
that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down
at the right hand of the throne of God.”
Hebrews 12:2
“Let us run with endurance the race that is set before us.”
Hebrews 12:1
