THE FOUNTAIN OF LIFE

Where there’s life there is celebration

As every day is a pure gift;

When one life ends another begins

And new life our countenance lifts.

Where there’s life there is a fountain

Of endless opportunities…

When we drink from the well of love and peace

Much goodness and kindness we’ll see.

Where there’s forgiveness there is life

As new beginnings are displayed;

When we can freely move forward and be set free

And when bitter memories they will fade.

Life drinks from the pure springs

As a well-nourished fountain within;

It beams with joy and it radiates

When we’re truly set free from our sin.

Life is magnified when the light

It shines on reality,

And when we’re cleansed there is a fresh start

And with spiritual eyes we see.

Life is precious and beams with hope

And with all our sweet memories;

We’re grateful for God’s most gracious ways

And appreciate what will be.

Life can certainly have ups and downs

And when we walk through the darkest valley,

Our beacon of hope is Jesus Christ

When our burdens He will carry.

And when we learn to never quit

We become stronger and mightier within;

As we pray against all the fiery darts

We overcome and we win.

Life is sweet and when filled with faith

It’s an unwavering trust from within;

It rejoices with new opportunities

With an excitement that it will bring.

As we appreciate this dear gift

Let’s thank God He created us,

And all of us so unique and special

With His tender and loving touch.
