Quality will last
And will endure throughout time,
But the vast amount of quantities
Leave timeless beauty behind.
The quality of a friendship
Is tested through tests and trials;
Where pain and struggles we overcome
And not only through joy and smiles.
There’s no point in quantity
When the motive is to lead astray,
It’s best to enjoy the quality
Of a sincere friendship that remains.
God sees the quality
Of those who can make a difference,
Who are bold, unashamed and who love the Lord
Who don’t look out only for their interests.
The quality of one’s character
Is revealed through one’s fruit;
As to whether the tree is good or bad
And all dependent upon its roots.
False prophets have many followers
But Jesus had only twelve,
Because the gate of truth is narrow indeed
Where few saints choose to dwell.
The quantities love every false way
Because it suits the fallen nature,
But the quality of one’s character
Remains tall and strong in stature.
Quality always trumps quantity
Because the innate nature of same,
Is crafted with care and a loving touch
So its fullness will remain.
The quality of Christ’s disciples
Actually turned the world around;
Who were once afraid and denied the Lord
But where a renewed boldness was found.
Because the Spirit of God gives liberally
And deposits quality within,
So the strength that remains is from God and not us
So many souls the disciples will win.
