They are humbly hidden from our sight
But are authentic and they’re true;
All spiritual blessings bestowed from above
As they’re combined with mercy too.
It’s when we’re adopted by our Heavenly Father
When we receive Jesus as Savior,
As His loving arms extend to us
When we accept His love and favour.
It’s His righteousness we begin to see
As old patterns of behaviour,
No longer have a stronghold
When Christ is Lord and Savior.
It’s His grace that we adopt
And His wrath no longer remains;
As we’re forgiven from all trespasses
And our lives are no longer the same.
It’s the hidden beauty of a heart
That desires others to be blessed,
It’s to have sincere intentions
Where love and joy will manifest.
It’s the sweetest of the fellowship
With God and His people too;
Who share a similar mission and a vision
To see souls saved through and through.
It’s an inheritance and a promise
Of eternal life indeed,
As we’re cleansed and we’re redeemed
Where many blessings we do see.
But the most important of them all
Is when the Holy Spirit sits;
In our spirit to confirm and stamp
We’re no longer destined for the pit.
The worldly standards are judged by sight
By achievements and success,
But God’s richest blessings are manifested
In those who humbly want God’s best.
Spiritual blessings are rich indeed
And although they’re behind the scenes,
They’re the most precious we could ever attain
Where by God they can be seen.
