It would appear an impossible feat
But when faith is placed in the Lord,
There is nothing that He cannot do
With many examples in His word.
When He raised the son of the widow
Who in the coffin lay,
He said ‘Young man, I say to you, arise’
Where death no longer reigned.
The people saw miracles
When Jesus cured infirmities;
He delivered many from evil spirits
And also the blind could finally see.
He now restores our broken heart
And resurrects the hope within,
As His promises are faithful
Since He is the King of kings.
Situations may be hopeless
And although with patience we do pray,
When God’s timing comes to answer
It’s always worth the wait.
And when Jesus is our Savior
In conjunction with our Lord,
We will never taste the second death
As promised in His word.
One of the most special miracles
Is when we’re resurrected unto life,
Having been dead in sin and trespasses
But through Jesus made alive.
And the most important resurrection
Is from the dead when Jesus rose,
And when victory was claimed
Over all darkness and all foes.
Those that trust in Him will resurrect
On that glorious of days,
When all pain becomes a shadow
And with God to forever reign.
