We thank you dear Anzacs
As you sacrificed your lives…
You kissed your children one last time
And waved goodbye to wives.
You fought the necessary fight
To set Australians free;
To preserve our freedom and liberties
So slaves we will not be.
You saved our ‘lucky country’
With a sacrifice that sufficed;
We thank God with all our hearts
That you paid that heavy price.
But now there is a different war
It’s a spiritual one indeed;
As false religions and ideologies
Our hearts and minds they feed.
Let’s preserve our precious heritage
To stand and fight the fight;
Embrace all Christian morals
And teach our children what is right!
